Cultural Identity of Muslim Women in the Yukngaji Community, Indonesia

The rise of the hijrah movement trend has caused a shift in one's cultural identity. phenomenon hijrah, which was initially interpreted as personal rite, begun to into communal movement. In essence, is process how person improves himself towards obedience and abandons God's prohibitions. essentially related searching for communication perspective, identity not generated independently, but through with others. Through Communication Theory Identity (CTI), this research wants know shifting Muslim women presented layers. This qualitative case study approach that collects data in-depth interview techniques about YukNgaji Community. results showed Community depicted enactment identity, relational occurs basically positive change. So change, can protect themselves future.
